CMIS has been a pioneer in developing Trans-National education in Curacao, with expertise in the administration of Medical Education. The first medical school in Curacao was established by CMiS.

CMIS is currently developing sports tourism related projects on the island, including the establishment of Baseball Academies for the benefit of MLB teams.
Curacao: Baseball Capital of the Caribbean
The youth of Curacao has been excelling in the international baseball arena. Curacao currently has the highest number of MLB players per capita of any country in the world. This fact has caught the attention of managers and scouts throughout Major League Baseball.
In what may be our most ambitious project to date, CMiS is working with professional scouts, team managers and other seasoned baseball professionals from the US to realize the Curacao Professional Baseball Academies. This project - also known as "Project 421" - will permanently place Curacao on the international baseball map as a location for MLB teams to develop their players. CMiS anticipates that this will be the start of what will become the next pillar of Curacao's Economy: Sports Tourism.
