Brionplein Hotel & Shops
In what turned out to be an astute investment, CMiS took over most of the abandoned waterfront of Otrobanda in early 2000s. This area of town remained undeveloped for three decades (since 1969). CMiS had the foresight to develop this area that is now a vibrant part of downtown. This landmark property is now an icon.
TNE / Medical University / 2002 - 2007
St. Martinus University
CMiS is the pioneer in Transnational Education (TNE) in Curacao. Today TNE is considered a valued pillar of economic activity in Curacao. CMiS initiated this project from scratch and developed a profitable school with over 130 students before selling to a Canadian investor group.

Blue Business Center
Redevelopment of an existing building and implementation of the concept of shared office complex with joint facilities such as conference rooms and virtual offices. After having successfully implemented this prototype CMiS is applying this knowledge to other business ventures on the island.

Martinus Academic Center
The Martinus Property at the corner of Brionplein and Molenplein in Otrobanda, is a protected monument. This site - once the first school of the Dutch Caribbean - has been completely renovated and converted to an academic center by CMiS. After renovation the property served to house two universities and several commercial units.

Salina Galleries
Shopping center in the heart of Salina with several anchor stores and restaurants. CMiS developed the project and is still involved with on going management.

Freezone Distribution Center
Before the internet and before Amazon CMiS managed over 20,000 m2 of modern warehouse space using up to date logistics. The development of this logistical center took place in a time when Curacao had a logistical advantage. The internet changed the landscape and Curacao did not keep up with the times.

Holland Aruba Mall
Redevelopment of an existing building to implement a downtown mall concept. Due to changes in the marketplace this project is currently being evaluated for conversion.

New French Village
In the heart of Coral Gables (Miami FL), just a stone throw from Miracle Mile, lies the New French Village. This condominium project was CMiS's first attempt to expand to the mainland. Even though the project was successful, it was clear that being in two markets would be a challenge. A choice had to be made, and CMiS preferred to focus on the Dutch Caribbean.
